Nothing new about the Natalee Holloway case yet, but I keep hoping there will be some activity soon.
Earlier, I was thinking just how bold it is for a suspect to publish a book before he is released from suspicion. His words will forever be a written record.

I agree with you about the publishing of the book.
One thing I don't get.. and I am not sticking up for SandraK. is how she got alot of flack for posting parts of this book on another forum, But yet Hannie C posts the chapters and translates what they are? WTH? Is it released already in Holland? I am confused? Dont take much nowadays.

Angie - The tease and the book’s Index were taken directly from a Dutch book site offering it up for pre-release orders. Much like Amazon or other big book stores in this country. Nothing secretive about that portion of the story.

The earlier deal with the troubled one is anyone’s guess. She apparently broke a confidence with someone and released that info. The source of that leak causes more questions than answers.

Experts across many continents will examine that book word for word and each and every contradiction will be brought to front and exposed across the internet.
This kid’s journey through life is just beginning and he has managed to become an icon that exemplifies what is wrong with society.
I don’t envy the kid, or the man that he will become.

Doesn't really take balls to publish that book - after all, the writer got away with rape and murder (so far). Writing a book (well having a ghost writer write a book)that's purely fictitious ain't hard at all.
Like you Easy, I am very skeptical. Aruba has a lot of funny ideas on how to get attention. Someone may think a Dutch blessing is just the ticket.

I am encouraged to hear that the Dutch sent people to Aruba, but I wish they would take a queue from the U.S. and have regular press conferences. Even if there is little or nothing to say it helps quell some of the speculation and rumors. Secrecy only feeds the gossip monster and creates doubts about sincerity.
Joran´s book is for sale now. He tells about the lies and all other sins he committed in his life. Except making Natalee disappear of course.

I'm interested in if/what Jossy has to say about the latest news that the case will not be closed, Joran (at least) is still a suspect, and "new" evidence (or information) has been uncovered by (I believe) the Dutch investigators. (Assuming any/all of this is true.)
There has been a steady stream of people being called in by the Dutch investigators and it is difficult to ascertain if a person is being questioned about the Holloway case or the Namdar bribery issues. The Dutch are much more secretive about their investigative techniques than the ALE. Nothing new can be added at this time, but recent events are considered very encouraging.
I don+t know if I repeat what has been said here before, but Dutch newspapers report new clues in the case and prolonging of the status that Joran is a suspect.
Hope you all heard Jossy on Fox News On The Record tonight. Jossy disclosed that the Van Der Sloot home and property was searched by Dutch investigators!!!!

I thought Greta was being very two-faced. She apparently took Taco's threats of slander suits very personally. She acted like "poor VDS family" those dumb cops should have done this long ago so the VDS (and oh yeah Natalee's family too) could have had some peace sooner. She KNOWS why the property was not searched correctly before and she knows it was PAUL who stopped it. Greta was purposely playing Taco's song. Disgusting.

All of the cable "news" programs are a disappointment, because all of the hosts act as if they wakeup in a new world each day. The panelists are useless too, because they do not bother to do their homework and cite specifics. It becomes more irritating than informing.
